1.            If a system has CCR as front end, you CANNOT test internally as the system will ignore DTMF.

2.            If the CCR is connected to analogue lines, instead of assigning the ringing in 144, it has to be done in 146.

3.            When trying to get a port to work as a hunt group message waiting station, you MUST set forward if OOS in 111, Routing attributes, 9. It will still show as being off, but will work once done.

4.            2 Standard Cisco RS232 - RJ45 leads connected back to back will work for SMDR output.

5.            571 and group number will give hunt group log in/out.

6.            ISDN2 will need to have the TEI changed to fixed from automatic to get it to work.

10. The repeat on no entry counter on CCR (AA) is defined by the Disa Retry counter (Item 5 in 160)

11. To do station-trunk access, assign the relevant trunks into different trunk groups, then in 117 allocate which stations can access which trunk groups.

12. If you have a 16 port extension card in an eMG80, ports 1,2,3 etc. will be positions 1,3,5 etc. on the krone strip and ports 9,10,11 etc. will be positions 2,4,6 etc. on the strip.

13. System call routing

emg80 system call routing

N.B. Index 1, when this is set up, calls can be routed by using DND 5, 1 from the attendant phone.

14. Twinning with a mobile can be set up in 236 and can be controlled both from the phone and from the station web interface. Group calls will only go through if the group type is set to either ACD, Circular or Terminal.

15.  If inbound calls cease when no outbound calls are made enable options messages to keep path up through firewall. 133  / 18 options message keep alive and 210 / 6 Check message send timer.

16. If you have different ddi ranges with the same last 3 digits (i.e. SIP with540150 to 159 and ISDN backup SNDDi 530151), use programming sequence 202 MSN Table, index 1, CO Line start and end are blank, in index of flex Ddi either create a new entry (e.g.200) or an existing (e.g. 5173) and put 530151 is as the called telephone number. This will route the calls through to 231 entry 200 or 5173 depending when 530151is dialled.

17. In order for SMDR to work you need an AMP (ACD Manager Protocol) licence, which is free, it just needs ordering. Without it, the ACD Print manager (160 / 13) won’t turn on.
